Produced by Jim Albritton | A study by researchers at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and the University of California, San Francisco shows that rats given a popularly prescribed antidepressant during development exhibit brain abnormalities and behaviors characteristic of autism spectrum disorders. The findings suggest that taking a certain class of antidepressants known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors or SSRIs during pregnancy might be one factor contributing to a dramatic rise in these developmental disorders in children. The study, funded by a 1.3 million dollar Eureka grant from the national institute of metal health appears online in the journal, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences at pnas.org. | http://umc.edu

  • You can get all the help you need to manage yourself with looking into yourself connect better to the "universal energy" by simply focusing on the thought and clear the mind of other thoughts..its called Meditation and is NOT a Religion , its NOT an Idol worship , its just about the Truth ;-)

  • The world is broken ! , thats why people are getting depressed , no drugs CAN FIX the problem. We also dont have any drugs at all made for against depression that dont have negative side effects both known and understood and NOT understood !

People its just BS takeing drugs to FEEL better , its not Natural or NEEDED to Solve the Problem that is Really causing the problem to evolve in the first place.

  • WOW! ... very interesting ... the parallel between SSRI use & the manifestation of ASD symptomology would seem to be indicative of a correlation ...
