I exchange the stock lens for a 50mm f1.8 fixed prime lens via the LAEA1 adapter.

  • Hi I had a couple of questions. When you shoot video with the VG10 can you hear the manual focusing? Since the mic is just above it.. I think that would be a problem when shooting video although not for pictures. Also when shooting while moving like walking or in a car is the video usable. I personally would love to use a prime lens on this camera but I'm afraid of stabilization and being able listening to the manual focusing.

  • With the stock lens there is no focus noise. With the LAEA1 and prime lenses there is. A shotgutn mike in a shock mount would fix the problem. The video in a car or walking is the same as with any other camera. At the beginning of my red rocks video there is a scene or two from a moving car.
