It annoys me slightly that the Furies get lots of credit for other peoples songs.
This one was written by Tom Paxton and he should get the credit. So it's not Irish at all. Same thing happened with Aregon Mill where they changed one word (Aregon to Belfast) and took the credit for the song which is by Si Kahn. No mention of him in their song book either. Like the Fries but it is still a bit off putting that they do this.
