Next time don't let the vet talk u into early neutering. It's a common practice since it's a big moneymaker for vets.

not a kind thing to do. if you are going to remove a working dog's nuts at least wait until he has reached sexual maturity. Important hormones and testosterone critical for sound development are now unavailable to him. i non-working dog it might not be so critical, but you've just made your shepherd very much less shepherd with your informed decision. oh, well, love him anyway...special needs dogs need love too.
