The Potential Step, case: E ≥ V₀
Now that we got the solutions to the Schrödinger equation, we employ some theory of plane waves to see what each solution physically represents.

  • shouldn't it be R= (|B|^2)/(|A|^2), where J_refl = B and J_in = A. Then |A|^2 and |B|^2 will be the probabillity density, right?

  • He didn't write it wrong at 0:55.

Because of the fact that he drew the plane wave towards the left, it account for the negative within the exponential factor.

  • a little correction: He forgot a minus in front of k in the exponent of B at 0:55. Actually something that is obvious, but good to point out to avoid confusion.

  • you should come to my school and teach
