How long did this whole process take? I have a stress crack in our tub. I never thought of taking out a chunk of the bottom before.

Asa former tub repairman I've done well over 100 of what we called "bottom jobs" and I have to question your method. Foam and wood chips break down as will the bondo. Why not just relieve the pressure of the cracks and lay some cloth and float some resin?
