imo, our perceptions flow in through our own unique filters. The human mind, as it stands in it's evolution, still must categorize the events we perceive quickly and efficiently in order to prescribe a flight or fight definition to it. this is to help us file the thought/event quickly. otherwise, we would stand there questioning the situation as a bear knocks us down and eats us. so what he is saying is more of a goal toward higher achievement for humans rather than the way our brains work.

I thing human brain cannot see anything Exactly as it is. It always creates positive or negative judgements about things it percieves.

Well your friends/close people don't sound like very good people. The problem with only thinking that you can be positive or negative is that it's a prescriptive mindset. It's like seeing the world as only black and white (which it's not). It tries to say that you either see the good in everything or the bad in everything, when in reality we should see the world for EXACTLY what it is. Sure...I strive for the best, but I find comfort in dealing with the difficulties in life, embracing it all.

Absolutely useless and muddleheaded. The point of 'positive thinking' is to actively look for opportunities ( like for improvement) even in bad situations. There is so much literature, including Dale Carnegie that talk about evaluating the worst-case scenarios. So he isn't being original or contrarian to standard literature.
All he does is knock-down useless strawmen, and hence is being useless himself.

This. This is very close to how I see the world.
