This is the politically correct Robin. This is what the BBC does with the licence fee. Bad sets. Asians in Medieval Sherwood, but no Friar Tuck. Robin Hood and his Miserable Men in a Diannified England. "I'm against hanging - even Sir Guy of Gisborne." Saracen bows. And everything is all right once Saladdin comes back from fighting against the crusades. A poxy script. And as for the acting, where's Errol Flynn when you need him?
