  • Portnoy "Executes" while Zonder "Creates" thats why Mark Zonder will always be superior to Portnoy...Plain and simple...!!!

  • lol.

Is the first time that i read someone saying that portnoy lacks creativity.

  • Mike Portnoy and Makr Zonder are both excellent drummers but nobody can fill Mark Zonder's shoes.

  • @VelvetViolator I think D'Virgilio did a great job, he has a warmer sound, but that's just my opinion...

  • @Ieronymous Peart would have feel asleep, dreaming of a redesign.

  • Fuck- Portnoy is hitting Zonders parts very well !!!

The "Athens" ging with D' Virgilio was so fucking lame and out of the original drum track.

  • who the hell is makr what??

come on guys portnoy is a way

    better that zonder

i think only mike mangini is better than portnoy but no zonder

    thats my opinion of course

  • I just realized that I don't listen to FWX enough.

  • Portnoy ruined the song

  • @Burn0ut0nline. More than right. Nick D´Virgilio was the worst drummer I´ve ever seen in the FW team. Very bad...

  • @chaimpo He obviously knows nothing of drumming!

  • @DTistehroxors you're right, if he had been showing off, we would all be having a seizure right now

  • @j800r yeah i read you man. I'm just saying that Portnoy is creative in a different way. Don't think that you can say that Mark is more creative that Mike or the other way around. And besides, he's acting as a session drummer, which means he's had little time to really practice all the songs through and through...
