Lagaan - Deleted Scenes Collection (With English Subtitles) 2/2

These are deleted scenes from the film Lagaan: Once upon a time in India (2001):

They deleted it because as you can see, it will destruct the story , why ? Why they need to be arrested if they have a match against the white men . Being a viewer must have an Idea on how the story will be ..

Although the scenes in themselves are good, I think they were taken out because of they considerably changed the plot, becoming a more aggressive rivalry.

I think it was a good decision, as the relationships work much better with subtlety (eg. undeclared love by Elizabeth, Captain and the bad guy in the village.)

thank you very much. you are so kind to include the subtitiles for your hindi speaking friends. I just wished those parts where Reena was speaking english wasnt dubbed over. she is such a sweet person and i so wanted to hear what she was saying...she played an active role in the movie. would have been grand to hear her views. but htanks anyway . If not for people like you we wont even get to see such clips.

some scenes from a movie are not shown in dvds i have learnt. in taare zameen paar a lot of scenes were cut. a special disc was produced where aamir explained why they were cut. LUCKILY I HAD already seen the movie. i was quite disappointed when i bought the dvd. but it did have a lot of others like the making of the movie and how they planned the school shooting . it was really interesting. !
