I have a great 2008 M50 Limited Black & Yellow that I am selling in Cincy Ohio for a steal if anyone is interested I can PM them the craiglist or cycle trader ad I have for it. 20,500 miles on it and it has been maintained religiously. Was my work commuter then I got a 1000cc sport bike. Addicted to speed now.

I have a 2006 C50 with a mustang cruiser seat and highway pegs... I way around 225 and I can cruise 80 on it all day.. I ride 200 to 300 miles in a day every once in awhile with no problems.. I have a bad lower back so I had to get the mustang seat with the drive backrest... wow what a diffference.. great bike,,,,

@mrolfe001 I'm looking at buying a m50. My only concern is at 80mph (freeway speeds), are the rpms really high, does it sound like you are working the engine to hard so that you only go 80 to pass and you dont want to maintain that speed? or does it sound ok at 80?

@sfc7267 I got an '07 m50 as a starter bike this year. The Harley dealer had her in the back of the lot for $3500 and I couldn't say no. She is great, but if you are a smaller person keep in mind shes a heavy mother at slow speed, although I got used to the weight pretty quickly.
mrolfe001, do you use a windshield for long rides? I find that when I do 250 miles+ on the highway at over 65mph, the wind gets to be very tiring. I prefer back roads every time.

I have a c50t and you can ride it all day long. I have a friend who put 88,000 miles on one riding two-up with his wife. Remember, these 1600-2000cc bikes are just a power race. That size motore is totally unnecessary for power or speed.

Shave a bit a of that off for wind resistance. Not super fast. But hell, its a cruiser.

I got mine on a dyno- while attending school- numbers arent accurate as far as torque and hp goes- because of a slipping clutch (i ride my bike hard). But I got it up to 122 mph per the dyno. Mine is a 2007 m50 limited.

@bohemond4 fuck yeah just chuck on some vance and hines cruzers, sounds like a beast
Hey, Im thinking about purchasing an M50. Just wanted to see how well they do on longer rides (4-5 hours). Is an 800cc engine enough power to carry a 200lb guy around and passing other cars at 80mph?

@sfc7267 I passed cars at well over 80 and I weigh 200... I rode it about 1000 miles in 1 day... it rides out great
