  • Well, there are some F18 at pearson, it use to be a military base, and they are there for defense.

  • But now a day, I don't see much cf18 at pearson, and Trenton AFB is pretty close.

  • Awesome video! by the way, your hands were not shakey at all! I noticed that the B737 stationed in front of you had no engines!! I guess they removed it?

  • I just realize that plane had no engine.

  • Wow thats awsome! im hoping to go to the airport tomorrow if it dont rain... i hope i see that at my airport Xd

  • Good luck to you, hope you will see something amazing!!

  • @bellvegas001 the CF-18's at Trenton are based out of Bagotville, They are under Norad control, they rotate out evrey few weeks. they have been there since shortly after Sept. 11 they cover the high air traffic corridor of southern Ont

  • @CylonAndrew there are never cf-18's at Pearson, you don't know what your talking about. this one was probably refueling on its way to the base in Quebec.

  • Breakrstylz,

no f18 squadrons in Kingston and borden, and for the few you listed 90% dont have f18 squadrons!! cold lake and bagotville for sure, trenton only has a couple based out so i wouldnt call it a squadron!!!

  • During peacetime, cf-18's and other military aircraft only take off from Toronto Pearson International Airport "YYZ" for airshows. the actual fighter squadrons are based out of Kingston, Bagotville, Cold Lake, Goose Bay, Trenton, Gander, Shearwater, Greenwood, Moose Jaw, Borden, Winnipeg, Comox, and North Bay. There is no active Wing based at Pearson.

  • I love the tearing sound the CF-18 makes!

  • @CylonAndrew it wasnt actually a base in WW2 it was only used to train pilots

  • Looks like he's going for a long flight. Lots of drop tanks loaded up on him

  • u usually dont see them at pearson but trenton u do. one of those things flew over me at and airshow jeez a kid shit himself

  • cool ur in the forces, i might join, by they way whats the daily routine there like?

  • The f-18's are at pearson quite a few times a year. It's one of the only places along their flight path that carries the fuel they need. They conduct Border Patrols and on occasion arctic missions and on the way back they refuel here on occasion.
