  • My high school didn't, but by now I don't know. My choir director died several years ago, and I don't know the directors since.

My son's choir did some silly things, never Muppet Movie stuff, but they also do wonderful choir music. They've done the whole Requiem by Rudder and many other same such pieces. I was really quite pleased with the music my son's director chooses for them to do.

  • @JCMercyGrace Did they sing the Muppet Movie Medley? Whithin a year or two, back in the 80's, my school went from singing this and Handel's Messiah, and that caliber to Muppet Movie Medleys. My heart was broken.

  • I also sang this in my high school concert choir, many years ago. This recording is quite good!

I have a son named Ezekiel. I hoped his (high school) choir would sing it while he was there, but, alas, they didn't.

Thank you for posting this (of course except for the photos ;) )

  • @SyverCyber I think it's the Moses Hogan Singers. Years ago, I Dl'd the mp3 when I used to teach high school choir. Never got the sheet music (I was listening to arrangements). I went with Dawson's arrangement because it was easier for the group I had at the time (and Dawson's arrangement divides into 16 parts).

  • Wednesday, 2/9/11. Please post name of choir and where they are from. Re post with different pictures/graphics/video please. Thank you. Great vocals.

  • @voluptuousbreeze Yes, this is the better Moses Hogan version of this song. I heard the Concordia Choir sing this piece in person and it was stunning!

  • @JAnthony37 This is a great version of this song. Try to get hold of a recording of this piece by the Concordia Choir on a collection called "Endless Your Grace". Heard it in person and it takes your breath away!

  • thanks i have to learn this for a middle school solo for chorous

  • Bass IIs are insane. Woooooow. Thanks for the post! We're doing this for states and this is a great recording!
