PES 2010 Demo - France v Germany

Don't leave any "OH MY GOD THIS SUCKS", "YOU SUCK" etc. comments or you'll just make yourself look like a cunt. Here's a match from the PES 2010 demo (PC). I'm not very good, made worse by the fact that FRAPS slowed my computer down loads. This is played on regular because I forgot to change to Top Player. Lack of commentary is down to it being a demo.

Intel Q6600 @ 3.0GHz

3GB RAM

ATI Radeon 4870

Runs at a constant 60FPS @ 1920x1080 during gameplay but drops to around 45FPS during the cinematic bits.

So it's really not very demanding and pretty well optimised compared to 08 and 09 which suffered pretty big framerate drops.

They have licensed music this time from the likes of Chemical Brothers and Kaiser Chiefs. If you don't like the music that's your problem. I hated all but one of the songs on FIFA 08.

It take's a while to get used to. The 1st time I played I thought "FFS this is awful, the passing is slow and sluggish and it take ages to shoot when your in a good postion," but after about 10+ games, I got used to certain players strenghts and weaknesses, who can sprint quickly, who can turn and pass in 1 move, who can do effective 1st time shots. The next thing I knew, I was doing some eye pleasing 1 touch passing to create space for that killer through ball. You will just get used to it.

cant believe how static and unrealistic the players are in pro, unrealistic, takes forever to pass and shoot, doesnt feel like a good solid smooth game of football like fifa. fifa is by no means perfect but i get a much better sense of satisfaction from playing it as opposed to pro evo. but hey ho each to their own, enjoy whichever you choose lads! Killie till I die!

I'm not judging the retail version of Fifa 10. It'd probably be a lot better, but the demo was kinda shit. No offence. I'm getting Fifa, but I'm glad I have something to fall back on in case Fifa 10 starts to get abused due to some glitch, like with Fifa 09

i do hope they sort that generic chanting out before the real thing ships - it does NOTHING to improve the bland pro evo matchday atmosphere that has come to grate on me over the years.

that aside, its good to see a full match of PES uploaded on youtube - goals compilations do nothing for me
