This video is a response to TisdaleFAN96's Best Friends Contest.

**Story**
1) Ok, first off a little background about the animation. Ranma1/2 is a story by the author Rumiko Takahashi. It is a story telling about the adventures of Ranma Saotome and the people around him. Ranma is a teenage martial artist from Japan who crossed over to China on a martial arts training mission with his father Genma. While on their training mission in China, the two visited the legendary cursed springs of Jusenkyo. Each one of these cursed springs has an individual curse on it depending on what it was that drowned there a long time ago. Ranma accidentally falls into the spring of drowned girl, and now, everytime that he is doused with cold water, he takes on the body of a young woman! His father takes on the form of a Giant Panda, and some of the other fellow "cursed" take on the forms of a duck(Mousse), a cat(Shampoo), and a pig(Ryoga). Hot water does reverse the effect, but only until the next time. Ranma convinced he needs to remove his curse, is none the less dragged back to Japan to meet his fiance, Akane Tendo. Akane and her two sisters, Kasumi and Nabiki Tendo, are the only heirs to the Tendo Dojo (run by their father Soun Tendo). As decided by their fathers, Akane and Ranma are engaged, unfortunatly Akane hates boys, Ranma hates that Akane's a tomboy, and everyone else is in love with either Ranma or Akane! Including most of the "cursed" and the local idiot Tatewaki Kuno(the guy with the sword). With all these troubles, the two seem destined for failure, but sometimes that's when love is its strongest!! =D
2) This story, though it does center around Akane and Ranma, is a friends story. Although people may protest, in this story I am making Akane and Ranma merely friends because of the rules of the contest. Of course I will most likely make more AkanexRanma movies in which they are more than friends. ;D Anyhow, for the purpose of this video, they are just friends. Sorry if this video isn't very good and up to par, I only had four episodes of the first season to work with because my downloader was giving me HELL!!!! Anyway, I'm kinda emberresed to enter this into the contest but I still liked it so I did anyway.XD Hopefully my next video will be a lot better.
