@MrDeamos In the ascendancy days they at least attempted to play difficult rhythms and solo's. In Waves is the epitome of mediocre when it comes what Trivium are capable of. They say they went back to a more ascendancy style... all they did was go back to playing six strings which isn't a big deal because Shattering The Skies Above was an amazing track and it was played on a six string. This is all opinion of course, but nothing will change my opinion on how In Waves was a disappointment

@Colton527 I think it goes Ascendancy > Shogun / In Waves / Ember > The Crusade honestly. Most songs off In Waves are brutal and remind me of the Ascendancy days.

@MrDeamos Any of their previous albums > In Waves, I take that back... Shattering The Skies Above > In Waves album

JACKSON FTW!

ESP Japan Customs are... The best? Yeah, they are. Jackson has so much crap out there... Every on I've had feels light and like a toy. Old Gibson Les Paul Customs and Explorers are awesome, ESP Customs are awesome...
