Cassel: If the president deems that he's got to torture somebody, including by crushing the testicles of the person's child, there is no law that can stop him?

Yoo: No treaty...

Cassel: Also no law by Congress -- that is what you wrote in the August 2002 memo...

Yoo: I think it depends on why the President thinks he needs to do that.

  • @6x7x10 modern nations have nothing to do with religion and you are correct to say we are not explicitly christian

  • this nation is not christian ..

  • I'm sure John Yoo would change his stance on torture if the Iron Sheik would put that jabroni in the camel clutch then fuck his ass to make him humbell.

  • All of them should have to stand in the dock.

  • Let's all stand up and throw this PRICK IN JAIL where he belongs! You know we put people everyday in jail for SMOKING POT! THIS SLANT EYED COC# SUCKER needs to be in jail....FUC# HIM AND HIS HALF BREED MOTHER....

  • Since we're talking about it, I don't support the death penalty anyway.

    Killing because killing is bad?

  • @expatted, Nah, don't worry about the bad day. However, if Yoo and his cohorts are found innocent after a fair trial, then they must be set free. Otherwise, they're all yours :)

  • I must have been having a bad day to get soooo nasty. A trial is appropriate, followed by a hanging. :)

  • @expatted, no, no action should be taken without some sort of hearing or trial. Inicte him under the appropriate statutes, have a trial, and ONLY if he is found guilty should the appropriate action be taken. Yes, I know this may be unsatisfactory to everybody concerned, but it is really the only possible way to go.

  • Until Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Rice stand trial I say the humanitarian outcry against the acts of John Yoo is farce.
