Random discussion on my opinion of the Just for Me Texture Softener. Usually people do their hair before a hair product review but not I...sorry about the hair.

  • I have thick wavy+frizzy hair (I am hispanic girl) and I want my hair to have no texture in it. Can I straighten my hair with a flat iron and apply this product afterwards?

  • ive been using it for a yr. I like using this instead of a relaxer (even though this can make your hair straight). I think I heat trained my texurized hair because, my new growth is wavy after a couple of weeks, But after a few months, my texturized hair is straighter after washed. My hair is thicker than my relaxed hair. This is great if you love your hair straight & thick.

  • im natural but im black, no mix no nothing... I'm african american soooo it's tough and exhausting finding ways to style my hair, and i'm considering a texlax or a texturizer just so that its more manageable and actually grows DOWN instead of OUT.

  • @reeree212 I have the same type of hair and it will work on your hair. Don't keep it on too long or you will end up with relaxer results. READ & FOLLOW the instructions as they will answer a lot of your questions

  • @reeree212 The "hair softener" is just a mild perm. It is made for "coarse negro hair," as you put it. Of course, the longer you leave it in (though I think you're only supposed to leave it in for about 5 minutes), the looser the curls are, but you don't want to leave it in too long, because you might /really/ damage your hair.

  • You look so comfy! LOL. Thank you for this video. I will be going this route from now on.

  • I thought that a texturizer losen the curl in your hair not make it straight( even though yours it not Bone straight) Can someone please explain to me?

  • hi! would u recommend this for a non-mixed black person with 4b thick coarse hair? I've been natural for 2 years, and I cannot take it anymore! LOL. I need something to soften my hair. I'm just not sure if this is strong enough for "coarse negro hair" LMAO.

  • @sexii87 I agree My Mom Is white, and she still don't knows how to handle my hairXDDWhen she did my hair when i wuz little It looked like a mess....

  • Pregnant and formaldehyde not a great mix
