A English man from London with a good accent reads 32 words beginning with the letter 'b' and 38 letters beginning with the letter 'c'. He then gives examples of the words in sentences. This video follows in the pattern of the previous videos. The reader reads each of the words and then puts some of them into sentences. There are some exceptional words that are ODD words. These words are highlighted. In the words that start with the letter C some C words are made with the sound of S. These words are highlighted.
i-TEACH-u 13 is now ready on YouTube.

  • as you say - still I keep trying to get it right. Bare and Hair could be said to have a similar sound!

  • Bunch of flowers sounds rather weird, why not use bouquet of flowers instead .

  • @bubblesatemojo because we talk about bunches of flowers in England. I suppose that some rather upper class people would talk about bouquets of flowers, or on a very special occasion one might talk about a bouquet of flowers but for usual days then bunches of flowers would be common.

but if you are sharp enough to know about both then you can choose whichever one feels right for you.

    best wishes

    jack

  • @bubblesatemojo You would say a bouquet of flowers if they were really, really special but if they were just a small present for your girl or wife then you would buy a bunch. But for your first, tenth, etc anniversary then you would buy her a bouquet of flowers. Best wishes Jack

  • I use to pronounce court like cart.
