It is incredible how driveable the car is, even when in 1st gear!

Mazda achieved something that not many automobile manufacturers have, by winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans overall, as the only Japanse entry, so this lil Company got its place in Racing history forever "Save The Rotary"

Making a 900Hp car is easy... the reliability part is usually what separates the men from the boys. This car was reliable

Wow 1st gear it's long

@razioth Oh thanks alot, now I have to go change my undies after reading that.... ;P That would be so nice indeed!! They just need to make a real follower for the Rx7, and not just something that looks like a cheap concept rx8.. :/

@skvakagud turbocharged 3 rotor hydrogen rotary engines with a (7 or 8 speed?) manual transmission :D

This page is dedicated to the Revival of the Mazda Rotary Engine... i#SaveTheRotary!
Mazda has been developing the Rotary Engine for nearly 50 years. Mazda's first prototype Wankel was the 40A in 1961, through the 16x "long stroke" prototype of today, the engine has been the heart and soul of Mazda.
Sadly, with the announcement of the exit of the RX-8 from the market, Mazda also seems to be set to stop research in future Rotaries.
Now is the time to do something about it, l

@yuds16 Because i think driving a 750hp quad rotor Le Mans winning car is abit of overkill for cruising down to the shops.
