@RHMETAL Leno and his manager did the same to Carson and Letterman. His manager pushed Carson out of the Tonight Show by placing an article in the NY Times saying that NBC wanted Leno to replace him. Carson wanted Dave to have the job and Dave would have gotten it if it weren't for what Leno and his manager did.

@schnikeys You know that his documentary came at a time when he felt he was screwed? He wanted the Tonight Show for years; I'd be pretty pissed off if I lost the thing I dreamed of forever. If anything I think it shows O'Brien as more human because it shows that he has other sides to him, not just the cheerful, silly persona you see on TV. I think he honestly does care about his fans: after his tours he would come out, exhausted, but still sign autographs for everyone.

@frijol2514 His old sitcom was originally on ABC; Nickelodeon just reruns the episodes. And Conan's comedy is creative. His old stuff at 12:30 was much better than the material they are now doing on TBS.

@freddy333ful TBS wanted to cancel Lopez beforehand but decided to give him another chance when Conan came along. I think the move happened at a bad time because Conan was still trying to get viewers and TBS misunderstood that both hosts' audiences were the same demographic. Conan's ratings have now become competitive on cable and are improving, but George isn't at the network anymore.

Oh give me a break with the ass-kissing. A day-old chimichanga is funnier than George Lopez. Refried beans have more flavor than the Lopex brand of comedy.
