@doingsomthing Bush didnt spend the money and doesnt have the authority to. We do not havve a dictatorship, like the left tend to believe. Any reasonable person knows that CONGRESS is the only entity given the authority to spend money as written in the grand piece of paper called "The Constitution". The OMB and the house and senate budget commitees decide what monies should be appropriated and they were spending llike chicken hawks when dems grabed those positions to discredit conservatives.

Well, If all the republicans were as stupid as they are today, it was not a bad idea to try to help the nation through the depression. "This debt that George W Bitch was piling on our children" would be more like it Bush threw trillions at the military without having any idea if Iraq had NUCLEAR (not nucular as Bush would say) weapons of any kind. if your watching this about the depression, you should probably also go somewhere else for the whole story and the real facts.
