Dade calls into talk show in an attempt to save birthplace from making a terrible irrevocable decision.

Mayor arguesagainst the opportunity to extract pollutants and in defense of actions that will lead to the perpetual pollution of the center of 3 residential communities. He seems ignorant that this will be the first such scenario like it in the history of the world; and that area will be an EPA experiment placing PCBs where they endanger longer and pollute deeper.
