Lauren: (Phone goes of jumps a little. Quickly removes her hand from Nathans leans away answering it) Hello?

Jeremy: Where are you? Ive been looking everywhere for you!

Lauren: In the pool house

Jeremy: Ill come meet you there, were getting ready to leave

Lauren: Okay see you in a sec (hangs up)

Nathan: (Stands up avoiding eye contact) So umyour leaving?

Lauren: Yeah Jeremys on his way over

Nathan: Later

Lauren: Bye(starts to walk towards the door turns around) Um thanks again for earlier (walks out, sees Jeremy, walks towards him)

Jeremy: Have you been out here the whole time?

Lauren: {I was smart enough to know that I shouldnt tell anyone about what happened earlier, especially Jeremy} Yeah the music was giving me a headache

Jeremy: (Wraps his arm around her shoulder starts walking
towards the house with her) Im sorry you had a crappy time on you birthday

Lauren: {There was no way this evening was crappyI had a amazing time talking with Nathan and before my phone rang I smiled a little} No it was still fun you had fun right?

Jeremy: Yeah it was fun

WITH NATHAN: {I watched her walk away with Walker. Though I knew I had no reason to be, I was jealous of him having his arm around her. I know it was just a friendship thing but I was jealous? I was jealous and I almost kissed her! What was I thinking? Clearly I wasnt or that never wouldve happened. God what does she think of me? Wait why do I even care what she thinks of me. No, no I cannot under any circumstances like her! Well as a person and a friend but more than that NO! Not that she'd ever think the same of me...damn it Nathan get a grip! Never again will you ever kiss her or think about it}

In the Car
Lauren: {I looked out the window thinking about the night. Everything that had happened, though my thoughts lingered on the last momentI could have sworn he was leaning in. But it was Nathan why would he ever kiss me, the Virgin Mary as he has made fun of me for so many years. As I relived the moment over and over in my mind I kept seeing him leaning closer to methe thing was I wanted him to kiss me. I bit my lip as I thought about what it would feel like, having his lips against mineI knew it would be much better than my last kissthat made the image of James and what happened come to my mind again, causing me to shiver. The sound of a males voice brought me back to reality}

Jeremy: (looking at her though the rear view mirror) You cold?

Lauren: Huh?

Jeremy: (turning up the heat) are you cold?

Lauren: Yea hmaybe if you people didnt make me wear nothing that wouldnt be a problem

Stella (laughs) hey I told you youd look sexy and you do. You know you like it

Jeremy: I agree with Lauren, that dress is too short. You guys arent dressing her anymore

Emily: And if I was the one in that dress? Youd have no complaints would you

Jeremy: (looks over at her then back to the road) thats different!

Emily: (rolls her eyes and laughs) Sure it is
