Scientology defector breaks her silence --

Raised as Scientologists, Christie King Collbran and her husband, Chris, were recruited as teenagers to work for the elite corps of staff members who keep the Church of Scientology running, known as the Sea Organization, or Sea Org.

They signed a contract for a billion years — in keeping with the churchs belief that Scientologists are immortal. They worked seven days a week, often on little sleep, for sporadic paychecks of $50 a week, at most.

But after 13 years and growing disillusionment, the Collbrans decided to leave the Sea Org, setting off on a Kafkaesque journey that they said required them to sign false confessions about their personal lives and their work, pay the church thousands of dollars it said they owed for courses and counseling, and accept the consequences as their parents, siblings and friends who are church members cut off all communication with them.

  • She is still going through the process of waking up. It took me a couple of years to come to the realization that all the Policies of the RPF and all the things I didn't like about Scientology were written by L.Ron Hubbard.

The whole of Scientology is a massive CON. It is scary when you come out and start to realize you've been duped for so long.

  • scientology is not a religion, scientology is a dangerous cult

  • @BlueBellyfluff Fuck me? No fuck yourself then you'll get more pussy out of it freak.

  • @SureWhyNot333 Are we still talking about your mother?

  • @chabertjackie You are right, scientology does care about them...all they care about is money

  • @chabertjackie No I wont, go fuck yourself.

  • I think scientologists are skeptical about scientology and don't want to dissapoint anyone so they don't make any remarks about wanting to leave. They should just walk away and never look back because it's obvious scientology doesn't give a care about them at all.

  • @BlueBellyfluff Wow surewhysnot333 is right you are retarded. How the heck can you lie about what you post when it's still posted below. I'm not a scientologist but you just made an ass out of yourself. If you don't believe in any religion what they hell are you watching this video? My guess is your a some little kid who has no common sense and just likes to act like your never wrong. Do us all a favor and just apologize for making an ass out of yourself.

  • I'm an atheist. Scientology beliefs are a mix of other philosophies, common sense and fantastic mythology. Scientology is the same as all religions.

If she believes it works for her it does so for the same reasons other religions work for other people, it's called the placebo effect.

The church of scientology is however a corrupt, corrupting and damaging organisation. I'm glad she's no longer supporting it.

  • I've seen that building in person very beautiful!! clearwater is scientology!!
