Obama FAIL. Pronounces "corpsman", "corpse man"

Obama, the One we've all been waiting for, the One who will heal the planet, the Messiah, while publicly praying that he will no longer be criticized failed to pronounce a job position he as Commander in Chief presides over. The teleprompter must not be very helpful with pronunciation. But we all know the president doesn't know a damn thing about national defense. I'll bet this dupe actually believed for a second that the Navy has a "corpseman" position. Yeah, that must be the guy who picks up all the dead bodies right?

Funny how some people can accuse the military of "air raiding women and children" out of one side of their mouth and then praise Navy "corpseman" for the outstanding job they do out of the other, all the while escalating a war they condemned others as "war criminals" for being involved with.

Someone from the "previous administration" must have tampered with the teleprompter.

BTW, for those who don't know, the word is pronounced, "core-man" and they are the crucial medical personnel who are the first in to battle with the Marine "corpse". Half sailor, half Marine and the best medics in the military. The commander in chief could at least give them the dignity of pronouncing their name right.

Well, I am an actual US Navy FMF Corpsman, I've fought side by side with the Marines in Afghanistan, been shot at, and watch my Marines get shot, I take pride in being a Corpsman. If this guy is going to be our "leader" and our "boss" maybe he should do a little research on "his" troops. I haven't worked this hard for my "leader" to not even know how to pronounce what I am. Maybe I'll make the mistake and call him Osama...

@KelseyWolf I can excuse "shoulder" for "soldier", because my tongue slips up often and I do it all the time. But "corpsman" and "corpse man" sound so radically different, and he mispronounced them several times, while speaking clearly and very deliberately. It is therefore obvious that he does not know how to pronounce "corpsman".

I understand a lot of people are upset he mispronounced corpsman, but even I at times say it wrong and even say shoulder instead of soldier. People get tongue-tied or just mispronounce and end up kicking themselves afterwards. I think it's a bit ridiculous to expect every word to be perfect when we're all imperfect even in speech.
