Nice job spreading the word about this great organization. Cool thing about Kiva is that a $25 loan can buy some guy in Vietnam a bike so he can run his fruit stand more profitably, then he pays it back and that same money can help some ladies in a village in Kenya open a clothes store, etc. I get to feel good about it all over again!

I've loaned over $20 000 and lost just $25 and some change. Kiva is fun and awesome.

@LKBM that's a lot of money! how long have you been loaning for?

@awildeeveeappeared Since 2008. Short-term loans and people paying in installments lead to a LOT of repayments. I believe it takes under $200 invested to be getting around $25 back each month, and I've been feeding money in there for several years now.
