  • I agree with you. I probably was too narrowminded about this. I have always used Pavel's books and videos as the only right way. I do the the anyhow with bentpress using 24 kg and 16 kg. I think that bentpress-style is more challenging if one's shoulder and back are flexible enough.

  • I wouldn't necessarily agree that doing it as a bentpress is the hardest way, it depends on f.ex back and shoulder flexibility. As a physiotherapist and personal trainer I've seen examples of both being easier for different individuals

  • From the DragonDoor forum:

The greatest 2 hands anyhow w/KBs ever done was by

    From: Fireman Tom, RKC

"Hermann Goerner. Swung two 115# KBs w/one hand overhead, squat down, curl and press 100# KB then hook to thumb of hand holding 2 KBs. Squat down, curl and press 100# KB. 430# of KBs held overhead, all-time record."

  • Yes I know that, but still I wouldn't post a video if I didn't do the exercise the way Pavel or even Steve Cotter does it. It's the hardest and the only way.

  • Well, you said "that's not 2 hands anyhow". It still is. The point of the exercise is that you use your method of choice to achieve your task.

  • I just refer to how Pavel Tsatsouline does it in his videos.

  • Tuokor: You're not "supposed" to do it one way or another, that's why it's called ANYHOW

  • You're not "supposed" to do it one way or another, that is why it's called ANYHOW.

  • That's not 2 hands anyhow. You're supposed to do bentpress first and when you're in the lower position you pick up the other weight with you and straighten yourself. Then you push the other up.

  • Great work mate
