COLT CLASSIC 2008...
This was a high-school class re-union for us. In 2007, we attended our class re-union. We were not completely satisfied with the venue: hence, we took matters into our own hands. We wanted to get back to the basics. We wanted to do what we did as kids and so a year later, the COLT CLASSIC was born. We are hoping for many more to come!!!
GREEN RIDGE STATE FOREST IN MARYLAND
This is a beautiful state forest. It is literally a huge playground for us. As kids, we were into dirt bikes and fishing. The Green Ridge State Forest Off-Road Vehicle (ORV) Trail offered these two big kids (JEEPSTREAM and BUCKEYE NINJA) over 70 miles of intense off-road/fat-tire-loving on this posh and fully mud-infested trail. The actual trail is an 18 mile loop which we did twice. We also did some exploring on the state forest roads.
We camped and fished right on the Potomac River. If you waded across the river, you were into West Virginia. Unfortunately, a Nor'easter pounded us with rain. This made the fishing tough, although we were able to get a few smallmouth bass with some effort.
LOCH RAVEN RESERVOIR
A huge reservoir that is on the out skirts of Baltimore. Unfortunately, the weather still did not cooperate and the fishing continued to be tough. We went with a back-up plan. And, like always, bluegill saved the day. We caught some nice ones, and the action was pretty good.
Yamaha TW 200
I can honestly say that I will never take a long fishing trip without bringing my TW 200. She proved to be a trip saver. Even when the weather is bad, she is still fun to ride. It is as if she came from the mud. She yearns for it. And she performed flawlessly. The fat tires and the 16 horsepower motor proved to be perfect on that trail.
JEEPSTREAM
He is my high-school bud from days gone past. We re-kindled our friendship during last-years high-school re-union. The rest is history.
Doogle Dawg Outtfitters
Like Bravo Zulu Outdoor Guided Adventures, Doogle Dawg Outfitters has been guiding for over 3 decades. Jeepstream owns and operates this high-quality/professional guide service. He too guides friends and family at no charge. It was a breath of fresh air being the guest. I enjoyed this awesome and well planned adventure. Thank you, Jeepstream.
Opportunistic Herping...
As you can see, we found many different reptiles and critters during our most excellent adventure. We caught eastern box turtles, an eastern spotted newt, a ring neck snake, a wood turtle, a spring peeper, and some weird looking bugs. The herping was definitely a sub-theme to our COLT CLASSIC.
Till next year.

This looks awesome! I wish i had places like that to ride! I just bought a 99 TW for $1300, it looks just like the white one you have. Do you recommend the cyclerack thats on yours?

Welcome to the TDUB faithful. My TDUB is the black and red one. I don't have the cycle rack, but I do recommend it. It is versatile and high quality. My friend jeepstream packed some oil, some food, and forest maps that proved essential for our trip. Yes, the rack was used to hold the above mentioned items.
