  • REMchout must have worked with the band.

  • haha, i was 6 when this show happened.

  • lol. this looks like an inside the band type of work. sorry for the mistake.

  • no problem...i'd love to work for r.e.m.!

  • Bill Berry is REALLY good and quite underrated. R.E.M. went to the dumper when he left. Even the mysterious low harmonies Bill does on "are pullin" here are never to be mimicked. Never again. Miss Bill.

  • Bill did have some great backing vocals...great drummer...wish he would come back for good.

  • This song gives me such a powerful feeling of nostalgia that it makes my stomach ache, and I wasn't even alive when it was recorded. I love all REM's stuff, but their early songs are so vulnerable and unshowy and pastel something....I don't know. Amazing.

  • Mike Mills would be the lead singer in any other band.

  • @toyoboeIII Looked better with hair then with no hair at all!!!

  • Until I downloaded the lyrics (25 years after I bought the EP) I thought "Chronic town, poster torn, reaping wheel..."

was "Chronic town, busted jaw, weeping will..."

  • Peter Peter Peter

  • @deweypug LOL That would be so cool!

  • Michael's scream on the intro is amazing.

  • Bill owns a hay farm and a giant tractor. It's great how the band pull from each other and put that energy back into the show. You can tell they really respect each other as friends and musicians. Could only wish I had great friends like these.

  • @gillart They should have broke up when Bill left, R.E.M. was my favorite band growing up in the 80s, I don't ever recognize them anymore. I love watching the old clips though.
