His voice is getting better in my opinion, Though i do miss those notes, But it's still a phenomenal song live, Especially when you go to a concert yourself. (I went back in February, Feb.13th to be exact.)
It was the best night of my life.

The reason why the notes are so incredibly hard to hit is because they're so sudden, Even people that cover this sing it the way Johnny does now, Else your just tearing at your vocal cords. He would've still had this though if smoking didn't catch up to him. That and he admitted himself in interviews even when they were recording it he could barely reach those chorus notes. I have great respect for him for admitting it, cause most Frontmen would not.

The concert i went to in February, It was Epic, Not like mostly all of the low quality recorded live vids on here.
I mean i do miss that he can't hit these notes in Iris, But i got over that years ago.

BEST live performance I've ever seen Goo Goo Dolls do. Usually he changes the melody live, but here he sings it full voice. Wonderful.
