hey wtf the civil war was because the south was paying around 85% of all taxes not slavory lee freed his slaves befor the war but grant was forced after the war was over. the Confederate Flag stands for the bravory and blood shed for the south to be granted the right to fair treatment. born in pabut thinkin about movin to ky or sc.

Grant did have slaves, one of the slave's names was William Jones. He acquired them from his father-in-law, a man named Dent, no later than 1858. They lived in White Haven.
