@OOspazOO Revere was a silversmith. I've never read anywhere that he also a gun smith. Do you have a reputable source that states that? Most people supported gun rights in Colonial America, Revere was far from being alone in that, as they had to deal with hostile natives and because they had to hunt and protect themselves from wild animals.

Update : Silly Sarah just went home to alaska again after a 4 day continuation of the SillyHillyBillyBustour. Apparently when only 1 camera team is following her, Silly Sarah is not too interested in doing the bustour.

@killustrator Palin makes an ass of herself here, but from what I remember from history class is that Paul Revere was a hell of an accomplished metal smith, mostly only recognized now as a coin maker / silver worker, but he was indeed a fine and very practiced gun smith(as was his father) and a strong supporter of colonialist's gun rights at the time. It is very evident to me that these types of sentiments can only do ZERO good. And I will say that, although I like to consider myself a very liberal person, it is exactly these types of comments I see all to often from the left that has always left a bad taste in my mouth and keeps me at arms length form the party.

We have arrived in 1984 27 years later, ( to all of you claim Sarah Palin is right, you would have to actually read a BOOK to understand the reference) Big Brother has appeared, and her name is Sarah Palin. That this woman, who is a rare combination of insanity AND stupidity accidentally gets one minor detail almost right amongst all her clearly wrong inane ramblings is proof to her devotees that she is smarter than us all.
