  • I have to ask, and I'm sure nobody knows; But why was Buddy sitting there???

  • This number was featuring Phil and his pedal guitar.

  • Hi,

Great video but what a shame we missed Buddy on it do you have more of this cocert ,,,,,WITH THE BIG E PLAYING

  • Is a shame Buddy didn't take a ride on this one, but I will be posting more from this concert in the very near future.

Thanks for your comment, Earl T.

  • I had the good fortune to have known Phil and work with Him.

He also played on some of my records and there has never been a more

fun time in music than that for me.

    Miss you Phil, RIP

  • That pedal used by Phil is in Port Arthur,TX. His son, Pastor Phil has it in his collection.

  • sax diarreiha-maybe Phil is getting that sax guy back for taking so long by putting on his own sax effect. Buddy is being very respectful by not playing, probably waiting for Phil to tear it --

  • just wonderful stuff. keep it coming...!

Georgia was kind of another one of Phil's signature tunes... along with Shadow Of Your Smile.

Buddy takes a sweet break on this tune on fiddler Buddy Spicher's 'Yesterday & Today' album, with Lenny Breau on guitar.

  • First of all, before I got into dobros, I played many many years around Boston Ma. area as a "weekend warrior". I still own a vintage Emmons Push-pull wrap-around in Rosewood, built (if I remember right) in '67. That said, even tho I am a MAJOR BIG E FAN, there is plenty of Buddy's magic on You Tube...however....there is DAMN LITTLE of Phil Baugh. At least I haven't found much yet. I loved his "pedals" and particular that low note he'd hit. Thanks for putting this one up, it's precious.

  • Way too much sax as usual....Phil Baugh--more please

  • Yea, what the hell is going on here. Buddy could keep up with the best of them and they didn't even give him a lead. What the heck is this all about. They're a great band, but for pete's sake, give Buddy a break too. Marc Trainor.
