Here is my favourite Disney song (no, it's not « Part of your world »!) in French European version with subtitules and english translation. For once, I prefer the canadian french version than this one, even if the european version is my childhood's.

Pocahontas's speaking voice is Mathilda May, a famous actress/dubber in France, and she did an very good job, even if the english's speaking voice match better the character.

Pocahontas's singing voice is Laura Mayne. She is a very famous singer from Martinic and her mature voice is perfect for Pocahontas. Her performance is excellent, very emotional, but she can't beat the swedish and the english versions!

It's ashame that Mathilda or Laura don't dub Pocahontas in the second film.
(In « Pocahontas 2 », it's Judith Bérard for the singing voice and Yumi Fujimori for the speaking voice, who dubbed Nakoma in the first movie). Unfortunately, Laura didn't reprise her role for the deleted scene "If I never knew you" in 2002.
