@stlfanchris Then again, my last baseball game attended I walked out after 20 minutes. That's just one game. I can't imagine going to dozens. It would be like watching grass grow. Meanwhile, our great country is going to hell because of all the idiots watching sports and eating junk food when they could be doing something useful. What? ANYTHING.

This guy is an idiot. Baseball is America's pastime and always will be. People who say the sport is boring are often too impatient to realize that what these players do is not easy. Hitting a round bat with a round ball is the hardest thing to do in sports. There is no clock in baseball, every pitch means something. In football you play 16 games and then if you make it to the super bowl you play only 1 game? What does that prove? In baseball you play 162, plus a 5 gm series, and two 7 gm series.

Couldn't agree more. Baseball is dumb. And @mortskab, if you knew anything about football you would know that it requires a vast amount of intellect to play.

Have you noticed that as America gets dumber with each decade, football's popularity increases? Makes sense, because football is a sport that idiots with short attention spans love to watch
(Yes, America is getting stupid, the chinese and japanese are killing us on test scores. and by the way, all you football fans dont bother replying to this because I'm sure as hell not going to read it)

@Mortskcab Thanks for the comment. I agree with you, although probably because I'm not a sports fan. Some of the dumb sports in this audiobook are entertaining. I've always wondered how sports fans pick their teams. Is it just because they feel an allegiance to their city? The players themselves don't seem to have much loyalty. They go where the money is. Even the city that sponsors a team can snub the fans. When I go to a game, I'm looking at the fans, not the game. Trying to understand....
