U2 COVER - VERTIGO

Directly from shopping to home. I couldn´t resist to play and record Vertigo as the first song with my new Telecaster guitar. This is really the first song after shopping, I was very concentrated in the new sensations of the guitar and specially the totally different fretboard.
As you will see in the end, I have bought a Whammy pedal too... Note that in the middle I play barre chords instead of mayor chords, because I feel that sounds better with no vocals, and the single notes need some tremolo.

You play the barre chords with your index and little finger. In the second part it is not necesary to play the full barre chord, in fact Edge only does in the live shows, to get a sharp and brilliant sound. In that case to be faster you can play the barre chord with you little finger on the D and A string better than using the little finger on D string and ring finger on A.
