Land and Freedom is a 1995 film directed by Ken Loach and written by Jim Allen. The movie narrates the story of David Carr, an unemployed worker and member of the Communist Party of Great Britain, who decides to fight for the Republican side in the Spanish Civil War. The movie won the FIPRESCI International Critics Prize and the Cannes Ecumenical Jury Prize.

  • This scene is so Goddamn beautiful... I have heard many renditions of the Internationale in many different languages, but this one is really the most moving. Even though they're just acting, it perfectly conveys everything the song stands for.

  • @LAGANES88 de que hablas de incognito?,eso fue en una de sus dos primeras estancias durante los puentes aereos,el regimen no podia simplemente detenerle por que formaba parte del gobierno cubano,asi que tenia que tolerar su estancia,pero tampoco le podia dejar moverse por la ciudad libremente y que contactara con los opositores o hiciera propaganda del socialismo asi que se le asigno una comitiva de del regimen para que le acompañara y vigilara en sus actividades

  • @hyuhyuuyh No se, según la educación que yo he recibido ir a una plaza de toros abarrotada junto a algunos miembros del régimen no es ir de incógnito, pero ni de coña vamos.

  • @LAGANES88 primero,las dos primeras visitas del che fueron puentes aereos y la tercera fue de incognito;y segundo las relaciones entre cuba revolucionaria y españa empiezan en 1950 cuando los 2 eran parias en la politica internacional,hubiera sido muy canalla por parte de franco subordinarse a la politica internacional yankee solo por que posteriormente cuando se alio con el le convenia secundar el bloqueo economico en vez de actuar independientemente.

  • @Paulcash83 Franco and Fidel Castro were friends, El Che was several times at Madrid during Franco's rule; Spain was one of the few countries that didnt support the international blockade against Cuba; did you knew that??

  • Stalinists killed the revolution....we must have a united front against capitalism state capitalism and facism...against all forms of the oppression and suppression of the working class.....so one day we can have a true democratic society and true marxist communism
