Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, Peter Mulvey has been playing the guitar since he was 7 years old. From his early beginnings in a basement of a music shop on North Ave. to Dublin, Ireland and Boston MA, Mulvey has spent countless hours practicing and fine-tuning his craft. During a brief break from his relentless touring lifestyle, Mulvey sat down in the living room of his Milwaukee home to talk about his origins, his development, and the motivation behind his 12th and most recent record, "Letters from a Flying Machine."
