@christiandcouture you're a dumbass. the MPG gauge on most (if not all) BMWs of that generation go from high to low. the gauge is pointing below 10, not 60. thanks for playing, though.

@christiandcouture: He was done with the test. When you let up on the throttle, engine vacuum increases, which is what this gauge is reading. And believe me, if you are coasting at 160 mph, you are getting great gas mileage...

@BMWkamikaze540 Even though I love my 1977 280Z, I cannot deny BMW of being a damn good car! Eventually I want to get a 750iL E38. 740iL would be just as awesome too. Whenever someone brings a BMW into my shop(pep boys) I keep regretting not getting my final cert or two so I can work at a BMW Center. Once I get a running car, I'm gonna go back in finish that.

e30 e38 and e39 are my favorite bimmers of all time and are the only way to roll IMO. nice blunt smoking-mobile, stellar driving(even tho thats kiddy shit for those cars) and fuck all the nay sayers and haters. any dinan goodies or is this bone stock? my M62 powered bimmer is at almost 287k, how many mi. u got clocked now just out of curiousity???
