  • Simple response to that comment: RUBBISH. That's some hard worker to win 6 grand slam titles, not to mention Masters and tour titles. No one else bar Federer in the modern game has his record at his age.

It's fair enough if you prefer Fed, and it's fair to comment on a poor showing at this tournament. But generalistic broad swipes only expose your lack of knowledge and appreciation of one of the games finest players.

  • Delpo is what.. 6'4"? And you wonder why his groundstrokes are killer? lol

You can't hit topspin to him, it will end up right in his strike zone. And the slice, when your top 10 professional, it doesn't necessarily work as well as when your a club player. you know?

Djoko shows alot of potential though. He basically dominanted 2009.

  • Nadal will be back, i dont know for sure if he will be as dominant as he was, but i do expect him to win a few more slams. hes won 6 already. It seems that a lot of federe fans wish the worst for him, shame people cant respect his achievements.

Anyway after seeing del potro against fed, he shows signs of the next dominant player. he was pushing fed around with his ground strokes. if you ask me, delpo might start owning.

  • What stupid rubbish... Every player has their ups and downs... He will overcome it in 2010. Rafa all the way... :) peace

  • You are 100% correct. He should improve his service and play flat and fast shots than depending on top spin high shots. When you see how he played RG 2008 and WIM 2008, I can't believe that his standard has dropped so low. But he is my favorite. Vamos Rafa!!!

  • There is clearly something wrong with Nadal's health. Mostly with his knees. I do not know if Rafa can overcome this in the coming years , I started way to early for him , I think knee problems affect players at 30+ , not at 22-23 , thats 7 most productive years in his career. Very sorry , could have seen a lot more Slams under his belt.

  • Yes, Nadal is getting worse and worse, because he can't make a good service, so, at that way is impossible to win. Now, the top ten know the Nadal's weakness, and his big efforts are not enough to beat them. He should look for a better coach, to learn different things and a new way to play. At any way, his victories have been amazing.

  • yah you cant win 6 majors and many more titles just with hardwork, and I'm tired of this injured shit, nadal pwmz

  • don't forget del potro

  • I agree with you, Nadal is just a hard worker, he doesn't have enough talent and genius (like Federer, Samprass ) to keep him on the high level for long, and i hope his fan are not hoping for a come back!!!!!! IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN
