In Raleigh, North Carolina, Rowan University defeated the first two teams in the tournament. In the third and final game of their tournament run, the game was tied at 2 going into a 5 minute overtime and then a shootout against Kennesaw University. It took 7 shooters and three goals for Rowan to win the shootout and the game 3 to 2 giving them an undefeated tournament. Colin Davis also was named the tournament MVP.
