If you like Linda, I'd suggest also Cat Power, Dawn Landes, and Fiest. Such wonderful voices and moving songs!

I should also recommend her latest CD, Keepsake, and One, Two, Three, and Four, which I've listened to many times and have in my collection. I finally located a seller of her White Girl Trash CD, but not her Ricochet, only MP3 downloads which stink because I want to turn the music up so that my apartment building gets a healthy shock of Draper- electricity. :)

What shocks me most is why the mainstream radio is not pouring out Linda Draper from its rooftops. Is the music industry that vulgar? And that is by no means a criticism against Draper. Rather, her music contains the potencies to reach across audiences and the consummation of it the sooner the better.
Her voice is milky sweet, with the sound of a birdsong. She's got my attention.
