Missing children Today the UK is marking International Missing Children's Day as every year thousands of children go missing. While some are found, unfortunately there are still hundreds who have not been found.

Never has this been brought to the worlds attention more than when Madeleine McCann went missing two years ago.

Marking Madeleine's birthday Kate and Gerry recently travelled to Washington DC where they visited the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children where an image of Madeleine as she would look now was created.

On the photograph Kate says: "Its a very emotional thing to see my daughter in a different way to how I remember her. If I'm honest, initially it was quite upsetting, but as I began to look at the features I realised that it is her and that she is two years older."

As part of the Missing Children's Day the aim is to raise awareness of the Child Rescue Alert system which is being re-launched by the NPIA in the near future.

Interesting video from Madeleine ! Do you know well if she is alive ? ; Where is she , now ? . I had seen her in France TV last week , but I didn't known if this young girl is Madeleine . her parent could know the specific sign on her body indeed .
