  • He just fucked it up by singing it off course!

  • This dance is Chamorro hula, mostly done for tourism purposes. Yes we all love hula, and yes Guamanians also do our own Chamorro dances. Hula has a modern/auana version and so does every other culture. Show aloha/chamorro spirit by appreciating the effort and love for the art of dance... It's a great show & he has many fans. Otherwise you wouldn't be watching lol.

  • This is Hawaiian style not Guamanian.

  • go charmorro's

  • can u please tell me where i can buy an MP3 version of this song?

  • wtf is he doing? this is shit! this is not chamorro at all!

  • Jimmy Dee's shows were endorsed by the tourism industry & what he presented to tourists misled them into thinking that Chamorro culture and dance is same as Hawaiian. Local bands dont call their reggae styles Chamorro music. But Jimmy Dee's performance were used to promote Chamorro culture. It would be like hawaiians using salsa dancing and calling it hawaiian cultural dance. Latinos would laugh. It's no wonder that Hawaiians laugh at these dances. They would not laugh at our hispanic dances.

  • True...

  • There are the ancient, contemporary and Spanish numbers that will be performed at the competition...a must see! =)

  • Actually, there are alot of groups performing the art of dance, chant and music - if you are really interested, competition is coming up the last weekend of June (all the groups have been invited to compete) at the Mercy Heights Auditorium...call PAHA for ticket information and price. =)
