Oh, I love Simon Bowman as Enjolras in this clip. I wish he appeared on an official recording. And I wish he were Marius in the OBC instead of David Bryant (if it wasn't at all possible for Michael Ball to be Marius), because his performance in the 1987 Royal Variety was awesome as well.
Michael Ball is, was, and always will be THE Marius.
I <3 Colm. Nuff said. I like Frances as Eponine, but I prefer Lea. Sutton Foster was very good as well.

AS much as I idolise Simon Bowman, he just isn't as good michael Maguire at Enjolras :(

@flyingrainbowpigs are you sure it's from 1988? Both Colm Wilkinson, Michael Ball and Frances Rufelle had left the show by that time.
It could be from the royal variety performance in 1991, which was a kind of tribute to Cameron Mackintosh. That would explain why a lot of the original cast is back.
