@Roylamx ("Finally" continued)
You organize society by argumentum ad populum (appeal to the crowd), an informal logical fallacy.....
....and wonder why polling the fickle, violent, and stupid lynch mob for it's opinion (voting) makes running society turn out coercive, flip-floppy, and economically doomed (they will ALWAYS vote themselves every convenience from the fruits of extorting others)! Republics and democracies are doomed to fail for this reason, logically. Voluntary or DOOMED!

@Roylamx So, all nationalistic nostalgia for ancient pieces of parchment aside, how can any compulsory government "secure and protect individual liberty"? It's illogical upon it's premise that something can protect you from harm and yet it must fund itself through HARM (extortion aka tax)! It fails argumentation, step one.
Now, since anarchism is against coercion, we cannot coerce those who wish to have government into abolishing it. But it must be voluntary w/ no regard to geography.

@Roylamx How can you "secure and protect individual liberty" by FORCING people into rules that are not designed to uphold ONLY natural law (aka not allowing harm and fraud)? How can this entail a mafia (state, or "Reich" in German) having extortion (tax) rights on the threat of kidnapping (prison) over everyone in some arbitrary gang turf (within borders aka dotted lines states draw on maps with no regard to culture or natural borders) based on geography? Answer: It logically can't.

The only reason the governement still exists is because the majority still think it's power is legitimate. I think this is rooted in the fact that many religious people think man is evil by nature and we need police to prevent chaos. If only most people dreaded paying taxes and hated being stoped by police for jay-walking, then we would be closer to a truly free market.

@luomio I am an anarchist because of Stefan Molyneux and Doug Casey; atheism happened a long time ago.

The purpose of government is "To secure and protect individual liberty." (Declaration of Independence). That it has become coercive force is only a reflection of the ignorance of the people.

i'm finding, libertarians, anarcho capitalist, and anarchist debate themselves by far the best

@optionism Yeah but none of those are beneficial, none of them really help the poor. Unemployment benefits? People who have plenty of job experience are just receiving free money. Food Stamps? I guess that helps some people, but you have to be qualified and go through a long signing process. Most of the anti-poverty programs that the US enacted since LBJ really only benefit some at the expense of others.

@FireGuyX Google "Record number in government anti-poverty programs"
Anarcho-capitalism on the rise. End the State.
