Tekken 6 -- Online Match and Frustration 1

Sometimes there are players that you encounter online that you read and hear complaints about. I guess this is some of them I've encountered. I'm sure everyone has their opinions on each of them.

There are button mashers, "overly powered" characters, and whatever. There are those players associated with one or more of those groups. Lag also plays into online matches, too, as some people basically play cheap to take advantage of the lag instead of playing in more "legit" ways that most people appreciate. I personally don't like doing those things when I'm playing. There are also those "rage quitters" that end matches by disconnecting their net.

Here's a video of my own frustrations. Note, this is just MY own opinion. Negative comments and immature comments will be dealt with accordingly. If you feel the urge to make a stupid comment, just simple go away. Seriously, it's not hard to do.

Finally, before attempting to make any comments, please take a note of how long ago this video was posted.

anyone got any tips i have wired connection and almost every game i play the syncing letters come up and stay for like 5 to 10 secs then i disconnect happens to others that play me to any reason why? i need help

@ultimawolf2 Hmm...it two people take a very long time to sync, then the connection between the two people is most likely very bad (1 and 2 ratings). From my experience so far playing this game and others, Tekken 6 seems to have really bad online management as compared to other games like Uncharted 2 for me. I know that when I play Uncharted 2, others in my house can be watch videos on youtube and whatnot without even lagging my own gameplay. Keep the connection free of use is all I can say.

For someone who complains about spamming, you sure spam those sweep kicks A LOT.... and not just in this video.

OMG I love to play Tekken more than any other game online, but why does it have such a horrible lag???

I have no problems with any other game. Only Tekken is constantly lagging or kicking me out... :(

Lol completely agree with you about Alisa users, the worst is someone spamming her kick attacks and then you start winning and they disconnect. There already using the cheapest character and still abuse the disconnection bug.

r u ppl really that dense? if tekken lags for u then ur other games lag also, its ur connection, for gaming u need the best and special set ups, ppl just notice lag in fighting games more so than others cuz of the gameplay mechanics, its advanved and requires a lot of precise commands timing, execution, its less noticeable in shooting and other games cuz the game engine is more basic and ur just spamming high powered pieces of led everywhere,and the gameplay is a lot more basic

It's called db or parry low when it comes to low hit spammers. Beating spammers or cheap ppl are easy since you can read their moves on the 1st rounds and then take advantage of the predictability and punish with juggles or stun moves.

@yscariot666 I can definitely agree to this. The network of Tekken does a poor job of consistent connections. I know I had a good number of green connections that lagged horribly.

@5600113 regardless of what connections YOU had!!! tekken failed to keep players because it lagged no matter if both players were in the green!
