Basic skin retouching using frequency separation and dodging & burning. I use this process on every photo that I do, and I usually spend about 4-5 minutes on headshots like this (and less time on full body shots when there is obviously less detail in the face). This is not intended to be a high-end retouching tutorial - but techniques that can help people who want to do natural-looking retouching while maintaining most of the natural skin texture!

Man, she's not teaching, it's not a training, just showing one of methods hot to retouche a picture. Wan't training? look for tutorials, or sign up for a course or smth. It's more than sure, that You've got to know the Photoshop in a particular level before. Otherwise Your 'dislike' has no sense at all, and You just spoil her profile. There's something about this movie if 98,3% (5388 like / 88 dislike) of voting people are satisfied of what they watched. I'm sure they are familiar with Photoshop

Unfortunately nobody will ever be able to please everybody! :) I personally hate watching videos that are even longer than 10 minutes because I'm incredibly impatient. I just want things to be quick and to the point! There are countless other videos, blog posts, articles, etc. that go into detail about the individual steps I take in this video. My tutorial is not for beginners, but for people who already have a handle on Photoshop basics and want to do more detailed skin work!

Lovely tutorial! I just wish I was doing it like you are. I have no idea how I am making the areas that I am trying to brighten somehow DARKER. I am so clueless when it comes to photoshop. Thanks for the tutorial, I don't know how I am messing up being that it's really straight forward.

This is why it pisses me off when people want photos for free or cheap. Its not just clicking a camera button. Its money invested into all the gear, using proper lighting and then all the post work like in this tutorial. All those fine details can take some time. Anyway, thanks for this video.
