Following his Hypnotizer single release from 2009, Tom makes his return voyage to the home of forward thinking UK Deep and Tech House! This time with a big nod to Liquid Drum & Bass and a big grin on his face!

After numerous conversations with Lars (FDV) and rediscovering his Liquid Drum & Bass collection/listening to classic LTJ Bukem mixes from the mid to late 90's Tom wanted to capture the spirit and feel of the deeper, subtler, ambient end of Drum & Bass with it's characteristic use of long 808 Kick Drum's to play the Bass line's, warm pads, Rhodes piano motifs and sci-fi sound effects. With maybe only a handful of Artists using 808 Kick Drums for Bass lines in current Deep/House/Tech, no one apart from Claude Von Stroke with his 'Aundy' track had touched on this more musical and fluid style.

Lars and Tom have christened this music style Liquatech as it fuses the best of the Deep end of D&B productions with refined Deep/Tech/House grooves. A connoisseur's blend that celebrates the heritage and inspirations of two decades of clubbing and music production.

Having test driven the track at WMC (DJ T was totally transfixed by the track) and various Clubs and Festivals, then crowd sourcing reactions via SoundCloud, Tom knew from the number of enquiries, warm reception, positive feedback and comparisons to Global Comm's 'The Way' that Gliding was definitely ready for release!

The title says it all, it's a tune to listen to with your eyes closed on the dancefloor, to glide off towards a magnificent sunset swirling in the thermals of smooth surround sound. With solid shuffling House beats, snappy snare fills and that infectious 808 Kick Bass line to test a Club's Subsonic capabilities.

There's a sublime Deep and warm treatment from one of Tom's favorite producers Shur-i-kan that effortlessly work's in a simple female vocal 'syllable' to great effect.

And rounding off the package, Tom don's his D&B hat after nearly 15 years (for those that remember, Tom and Mark Pritchard released an acknowledged anthem on Danny Bukem's label as Chameleon back in '95) to explore a tempo and genre dear to his heart. A clear tribute to the Liquid D&B sound but with Tom's trademark harmonies, atmospheric details and sound design.

And in a departure from the current digital 'in the box' production techniques, the tracks have all been lovingly mixed down in the Analogue domain, via solid state channel strips, tubes, valves and mastered to tape by the new Don of D&B, Dubstep and Analogue mastering Lewis Hopkin from Devon's Star Delta Mastering. You really CAN hear and feel the difference.
